The first seamless ring was developed by Artcarved over a century ago when this fine jewelry company was still in its infancy. Throughout the years, the world has changed but the steadfast principals of Artcarved's dedication to quality, innovation and comfort have not wavered.

Artcarved became famous for their “carving” process which revolutionized the way in which detailed designs were added to fine jewelry. Always the innovator, they popularized the exchange of wedding rings between both men and women during WWII. The exchanging of rings between loved ones, before soldiers were sent off to war was not a common practice prior to this point in time. This spawned a cultural transition to ring ceremonies involving both partners exchanging matching rings as a symbol of their love for one another. To date, Artcarved is still a highly regarded leader in the fine jewelry industry.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Van Scoy. I accompanied him a few times during the selection process. Helen was our consultant, and let me say, I just love her! She was very accommodating and walked us through the entire process, offering her expertise along the way, but at the same time not being pushy. Van Scoy was the only jeweler in our area who treated my husband respectfully when he went in to inquire about my engagement ring.
